Global Master Trainer:

Dr El-Khani is a global master trainer of seven international psychosocial, family skills, and trauma recovery interventions. She is highly experienced in training and implementing these interventions globally, including war and displacement contexts. She has led face to face family skills training in over 15 countries including Tajikistan, Senegal, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Palestine, Indonesia, Syria, Turkey, Sri Lanka, India and the Philippines. She has led many trainings remotely including in Zambia, Bosnia, Mexico, Egypt and Lebanon.

Aala also trains and supervises research assistants and field workers on research methods such as project initiation, protocol development, research management, identifying tools, data collection, participant measure completion and working to the correct ethical guidelines.

Aala also provides one to one training for individual families, both face to face in Manchester and remotely across the world. She has worked with clients globally to provide a personalized package of family skills support, including training nannies and domestic help workers working within families to provide a complete cycle of support for caregivers and the staff they employ to care for their children.
